Chris Ayres is the Head Wrestling Coach at Princeton University, 3 x Ivy League Coach of the Year. Coach Ayres has been at the helm for over a decade and after going 0-35 in his first two years The Tiger’s brought home their first Ivy League title since 1986 snapping Cornell’s 17-year Ivy unbeaten streak, which had spanned 92 league matches, in the process winning Princeton 500 Ivy League Championship for the University.  

On today’s episode we talk with Coach Ayres about what went into building the Princeton wrestling program, winning his first Ivy League Championship, his coaching staff, the recruiting process, the NJRTC’s impact, elevating college wrestling in New Jersey and of course the difference between Pork Roll & Taylor Ham…
